Montenegro Car Rental Conditions

  • The minimum rental period is 24 hours. Charging is done on a daily basis and rentals of less than a day are charged as a full day. For example, if a car is rented at 12:00 on Monday and returned at 12:30 on Tuesday, the rental period is considered to be 2 days.

  • It is possible to extend the rental period after preliminary agreement with the manager of the company.

  • When returning the car, the fuel level in the tank must be the same as when you received it. If the fuel level is lower upon return, the renter is obliged to pay the difference according to the rental company's tariffs. In case of excessive fuel level, the difference is not reimbursed.

  • If the car is dirty upon return and this makes it difficult to inspect, the car wash is performed at the expense of the client.

  • Standard insurance (MTPL) - does not cover damage to the wheels, underbody, windshield and interior of the car.

  • If an insured event occurs, the renter must immediately notify the manager of the rental company and obtain a police accident report (unless otherwise agreed with the manager). If these conditions are not fulfilled, the insurance taken out on the car is not valid and all responsibility lies with the renter.

  • Rental cars may only be used on public roads.

  • It is forbidden to travel out of the country with rented cars, unless it is agreed with the rental manager.

  • The contact phone number with the correct country code given at the time of booking must be available throughout the rental period and on the eve of picking up the car. Claims for quality of service will not be considered if it is not possible to contact the renter by cell phone or messengers (WhatsApp / Telegram).

  • Payment of fines, fuel and parking is the responsibility of the renter.

  • The minimum age of the driver is 21 years, the maximum age is 65 years and the minimum driving experience is 2 years. The rental manager reserves the right to refuse to rent a car if the driver's age and driving experience do not meet these requirements.

  • A national driver's license duplicated in Latin script is sufficient to rent a car. It is recommended to include an International Driving Permit (IDP) if your driver's license is valid only in the country where it was issued and provide it upon request.

  • If a credit card is required for deposit, it must be in the primary driver's name.

  • Only small pets in special containers are allowed in rental cars.
